Convention Race Info

THE WINDSOR ESSEX COUNTY RACING PIGEON ASSOCIATION IS PROUD TO HOST THE 2008 C.R.P.U. CONVENTION AND CONGRATULATE THE LADIES AUXILIARY ON 50 YEARS!

We invite everyone with International Federation recognized rings to participate in the race. The race will be Saturday, October 11, 2008 400 to 430 Km from Fowlers Corners Weather will be carefully monitored

Entry fee will be $75/bird of which $10 will go to the Ladies Auxiliary with a $10 buyback option for a total of $85. Capital prize money will be a 50/50 split between handler/breeder

Breeders may designate a portion of birds entered as follows: 4 birds entered – 1 may be designated 5 birds entered – 2 may be designated 6 to 9 birds entered – 3 may be designated 10 or more – 4 may be designated All other birds will be placed on a draw basis No more than 50% designated birds in any loft. Handlers may enter birds but not handle their own.

For every 5 birds entered an additional 1 may be sent free of charge as a back up. If a back up is not required the additional bird may be activated on shipping night for $50 Additional bird will not count towards designation

Birds will be received between April 15th to May 15th, 2008 Entry fees to be received by March 31st, 2008

PLEASE NOTE IF YOU WERE NOT ABLE TO SEND PAYMENT BY MARCH 31ST
WE WILL ACCEPT PAYMENT WHEN THE BIRDS ARE SHIPPED.
THE REASON FOR EARLY PAYMENT WAS TO GIVE US TIME TO ORGANIZE OUR
DISTRIBUTION OF BIRDS PRIOR TO THEIR ARRIVAL.
